India made a breakthrough, one company of the country's Pop, Ratan Tata, releasing a small car at the Auto Expo in January 2008 in Paganti Maidan, India. Car named Nano. Who would have thought, Nano sells for $ 2500 (about 23 million rupiahs). It's cheaper than the price of other cars in general today, because this car was targeted as a replacement bike for the medium class. Although cheaper, Nano still brings comfort to its users, the specifications were not bad.

In the early of 2009, heard news that this car will go on the market of Indonesia. However, the price could rise between 40-60 million rupiahs. Once the news I've heard. But so far, today I have not got a certainty whether the Nano will be or have actually sold to Indonesia. To be sure, after India Indonesia lobbied for the rights of Nano in the market access of Indonesia, Indonesia can not specify the decision.

"Yesterday the Ambassador of India could not ask for this car (Tata Nano) into Indonesia, but I can not say yes or no because we are members of the WTO that respects the principles of WTO rules," said Industry Minister Fahmi Idris, the opening of IIMS to -16, at the JCC, Jakarta, Friday (11/7/2008).
